MARK BAKER NAMED VICE PRESIDENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLGY AT LENZE-AC TECH

UXBRIDGE, MA – SEPTEMBER 15, 2008 – Lenze-AC Tech proudly announces the promotion of Mark E. Baker to Vice President of Information Technology. Appointed in 2004 to bring the company up to current industry standards, Baker has since steered the corporate computer infrastructure well into the 21ST Century. With an elite team of highly specialized IT experts, Baker has transformed the company’s technological and business processes during a period of double-digit employee growth.

“Lenze-AC Tech competes on a global stage in real time and that real-time response is a direct result of Baker’s vision and leadership in developing a cohesive IT strategy”, says Allen E. Ottoson, President and CEO of Lenze-AC Tech, adding “Baker is not afraid to ‘change things up’, working with all facets of the company to streamline processes from engineering to manufacturing right on through to customer service”. A serious hat trick, Baker’s advancement of Lenze-AC Tech’s infrastructure is the product of efficient utilization of critical information, state-of-the-art equipment, and constant vigilance.

Efficiency is key in Baker’s game plan. Slicing the cost of desktop computing by 1/3; barcoding the manufacturing, shipping and finished goods inventory; implementing a CRM solution and installing Voice over IP systems have all modernized the corporate framework. Now Baker and his team have made the perfect slap shot with the development and execution of Lenze-AC Tech’s IT Disaster Recovery Plan. Game Over? No way. Additional international offices have Baker planning IT expansions and new applications mean moving from desktop to server-based computing. Goal in sight, Baker brings over 22 years of IT experience, a BS degree from the University of Minnesota and a CSS from Harvard University to Lenze-AC Tech. Baker and his wife Sandra Burroughs are 14-year residents of Warwick, RI.

Lenze-AC Tech develops, manufactures, markets and supports a complete range of motion management solutions, including servo drives and motors, clutches and brakes, gears and gear motors and variable frequency AC motor drives. Lenze-AC Tech’s portfolio of AC Drive products extends from some of the world’s smallest sub-micro drives up through large, 500 HP.
