MOTIONVIEW ONBOARD SOFTWARE EMBEDDED IN POSITIONSERVO DRIVE

UXBRIDGE, MA – AUGUST 08, 2008 – Lenze-AC Tech announces that MotionView OnBoard (the configuration and programming software) is now embedded in the PositionServo drive and can be launched from any Window’s based web browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox. According to Lenze-AC Tech officials, the freedom of platform independence means the PositionServo drive with MotionView OnBoard can run without having specific servo drive software loaded onto your computer.

“You no longer have to search for that compatible CD or download software for your servo drive,” says Darrow Hanesian, Director of Product Management at Lenze-AC Tech, and he continues, “Simply plug in your drive to any Window’s based browser and you immediately have everything you need to set up and program your drive.” Lenze-AC Tech Marketing Manager, Deb Kling, comments, “It’s a beautiful thing when the customer doesn’t need to worry about software and firmware revisions –he can just connect and be on his way.” Kling adds that drive intelligence and fluid programming make the PositionServo with MVOB the drive of choice for any application, from simple to very sophisticated ones.

Hanesian states that in addition to featuring MotionView OnBoard, the PositionServo drive has enhanced capabilities including Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet and PROFIBUS DP fieldbus protocols; multiple language support (English, German, French, Italian and Spanish) and expanded arrays. Advanced debugging tools allow the user to save variable watch configurations as project files for later recall.
