LENZE-AC TECH ADDS ANOTHER NEMA 4X (IP65) ENCLOSURE OPTION TO ITS SMVECTOR INVERTER LINE.

UXBRIDGE, MA – April 30, 2008 – Lenze - AC Tech announces the release of Polycarbonate Plastic NEMA 4X (IP65) enclosures for the SMVector Inverter.

Company officials describe the SMVector NEMA 4X Polycarbonate Plastic inverter as the perfect solution for industries such as food and beverage or chemical processing, where drives need to be protected against dust, dirt and the harmful effects of water and corrosion. Lenze-AC Tech Director of Product Management, Darrow Hanesian, explains that the Polycarbonate plastic enclosure is intended for both indoor and outdoor use; is NEMA 4X (IP65) rated, corrosion and UV resistant and has an improved resistance to low temperature impact.

"When specifying a VFD, installation location should always be carefully considered," is a reminder from Steve Dextraze, Lenze-AC Tech Inverter Product Manager. Dextraze adds that the SMVector NEMA 4X models are available with universal inputs (120 - 600VAC) up to 10HP, with plans to expand up to 30HP, and concludes by stating that Lenze-AC Tech is one of the very few VFD sources offering polycarbonate enclosures as well as enclosures suitable for outdoor applications.
